How to Insert a Circle in Google Slides

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the slide you want to add the circle to (Search Result 3)
  2. Click the Shape icon in the toolbar and select the circle shape (Search Results 3, 8)
  3. Click and drag on the slide to draw the circle. Hold shift while dragging to draw a perfect circle (Search Results 3, 20)

To insert a circle around an image

  1. Insert the image you want to place the circle around (Search Result 6)
  2. Select the image and click the crop icon in the toolbar (Search Results 7, 12, 17)
  3. Hover over Shapes and select the circle shape to mask the image (Search Results 2, 12, 17)
  4. Adjust the circle as needed to frame the image

To animate a circle

  1. Draw or insert a circle on the slide (Search Result 5, 15)
  2. Open the Motion pane and select the circle (Search Result 14)
  3. Click Add animation and choose an entrance effect like Spin In or Wheel to make the circle animate onto the slide (Search Results 11, 14)

To format a circle

  • Change the color, thickness, or line dash style of the circle border (Search Result 8, 18)
  • Make the circle transparent by setting the Fill color to transparent (Search Result 21)
  • Align text or numbers inside a circle using the align and padding formatting options (Search Result 4)
