PowerPoint 2010: Advanced Presentation Options

PowerPoint 2010 offers several advanced options for creating and delivering presentations beyond the basics. Here are some of the key features:

Broadcast Slide Show

You can broadcast your PowerPoint presentation online so anyone can view it remotely. This allows you to:

  • Share your presentation with a wider audience across locations
  • Allow remote participants to view the presentation live
  • Facilitate webinars, virtual conferences, sales presentations, etc.

To broadcast your presentation:

  1. Click the File tab
  2. Select Save & Send
  3. Click Broadcast Slide Show
  4. Click Start Broadcast

You will need to sign in with a Microsoft account.

Create a Video

Convert your slideshow into a video file with narrations and timings. You can:

  • Add audio narration to explain each slide
  • Rehearse slide timings to automatically advance
  • Export the presentation as a WMV video file

This allows you to share the presentation easily without requiring PowerPoint.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click the File tab
